Structure of the Institute. The Institute comprises eight Departments and four Sections: Department of Palaeolithic and Mesolithic Archaeology, Department of Neolithic Archaeology, Department of Bronze and Iron Age Archaeology, Department of Classical Archaeology, Department of Mediaeval and Post-mediaeval Archaeology, Department of Archaeology of Architecture, Department of TJnderwater Archaeology, Department of the History of Arms and Armour, History of Glass Section, Section for the Reconstruction of Natural Environment, Section for Documentation and Conservation and Computer Archaeology Section. Moreover, the Institute houses a library with 30 000 volu-mes of archaeo log i cal and ethnographic literaturę.
