Structure of the Institute. The Institute comprises six Departments and three Laboratories: Department of Prehistory, Department of Classical Archae-ology, Department of Medieval and Post-Medieval Archaeology, Department of Architectural Archaeology, Department of Underwater Archaeology, Department of the History of Arms and Armour, Department of Ethnology, Laboratory for the History of Glass, Laboratory for the Reconstruction of Natural Environ-ment and Laboratory for Documentation and Conservation. Moreover, the Institute houses a library with 20 000 volumes of archaeological and ethnographic literaturę.
