This is the story of the Vikings, a world which conjures up pictures of fast exciting ships and a race of fierce, proud seamen. They reached the limits of the known world in their beautiful ships, for difficulties meant nothing to them.
They were welcomed as traders wherever they went, but the sight of their fighting ships, come to pillage and plunder, caused people to flee in terror.
